Our resident comedian (literally), Tamby never fails to bring laughter to those in the same room as him! This combined with his Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and current ambition of pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Early Childhood Studies makes Tamby the perfect educator! Tamby’s personal interests include comedy, hip-hop, politics, technology, fitness, education, design, and comic books!

Having a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Diploma in Performing Arts for Music Theatre, Joan is most definitely one of the Houses bubbliest individuals! Of course this means that she is most definitely into dancing, singing, and acting in her free time! Joan uses her lively personality and capturing teaching techniques to mesmerise her students and improve their English as well as confidence and presentation skills.

A friendly face at Peterhouse, Vivienne’s bubbly personality captures the hearts and minds of her students. Her artistic side can always be seen from her constantly beautiful drawings on our Peterhouse chalkboard! When she isn’t shaping the minds of the future, Vivienne enjoys doing arts & crafts, learning more languages, TV shows, calligraphy, and of course, sleeping!

 

An Interesting Fact!

Despite her love for colour and everything colourful, Vivienne only usually wears black or grey. Additionally, her love for Japanese culture can be seen from her taste in TV shows and receiving a N2 grade in a Japanese Proficiency Test! I guess all the TV shows eventually paid off.

With a name too amazing to pronounce, TJ is our resident Thai boxer, spinning expert and childhood education diva. With a GCE Advanced Level and TEFL combined with International TESOL Certification, there’s no wonder why all the kids love and learn so much from TJ and her creative and bubbly personality!

 

An Interesting Fact!

TJ compliments her love for fitness with a passion for organic produce and nutrition, especially her all-time favourite, quinoa. Even when it’s inconvenient, TJ will go out of her way to make sure she can enjoy some organic munchies!

Our in-house “Original” James boasts an impressive resume, having a degree in Philosophy and Religion as well as a TEFL certificate. James is into basketball, creating challenging mazes for his students to complete, cooking, art, and of course which English teacher’s list of passions would be complete without reading and writing?! James’s extensive teaching experience combined with his adoration for literature extends to his students and invokes inspiration.

“I have climbed to the summit of three mountains, Mount Adams New Hampshire 5,793 feet above sea level, Mount Washington New Hampshire 6.288 feet above sea level, and Mount Osborn Wyoming 13,804 feet above sea level with my two daughters then aged 5 and 10.”
