On December 4th 2016, guests of Peterhouse were lucky enough to participate in a healthy cooking session, courtesy of Green Common! Parents in Hong Kong brought their children along for a special interactive experience, as we believe that you can never be too young to start learning about health!
A semi-private dining and cooking opportunity was held, courtesy of Michael, Adventist Hospital’s Head Chef! We were also given an insight into the health-benefits of specific food items, such as almond milk, quinoa, chia seeds, and organic vegetables from Mr. Wong, Head of Dietetics at The Adventist Hospital!
We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! We all learnt some truly valuable lessons from Michael and Mr. Wong, which everyone can easily apply to their own meals at home. Your health starts in the kitchen, and it is Peterhouse’s mission to make sure that families in Hong Kong are treating themselves right!
